  Hello Visitor,

To kick start our Chinese New Year week we would like the children to come dressed in red, yellow or gold on Monday 12th February. We would also like the children to bring in some food relating to Chinese New Year to either taste, smell or use in our role play areas. All next week we will have a list of items we will need. Please can parents sign up to a minimum to 2 items to bring in on Friday 9th February. If you have any chopsticks, old woks or steamers that you are happy to donate to add to the children’s experiences then they would be gratefully received.

Perhaps a relative has been to China and brought back items/artefacts (paintings, clothing, statutes etc) that they would be happy for the children to look at (but not touch). Please send these in too in a named bag.

These are the items that will be on the class lists. If you don’t pick up your child you could also email in to the office what you will be providing for Monday 12th February. If your child has any allergies to any food listed then please let your child's class teacher know.
