We are aware that many children across school have come out in red spots/a rash over the last few days.
We have sought advice from medical professionals and Public Health. Whilst the cause of these spots is unclear, the children can continue to attend school as long as they are feeling well enough.
If you are concerned about your child please contact your local GP. Please note we have been informed by a couple of parents who have been seen by their GP this week that the rash looks like a reaction and therefore should take antihistamines and keep an eye on it.
It has been extremely warm this week, windows/doors are open as much as possible and the grass has been recently cut. These factors could play a big part in some skin irritation.
We will keep you updated should there be any further developments.
