Sports Day

Sports Day will be on Thursday 27th June, weather permitting. (On Saffron Road Recreational Ground.) You are welcome to come along to watch your child/ren participate in the races but we ask respectfully that you stay in the coned areas that are reserved for spectators. As you will understand we will be in a public place and will therefore want to keep our children with their class teachers at all times so that we can keep a close eye on them.

Please see below the time that each year group will be taking part:

9:15am – 10:00am - Year 2
10:00am – 10:45am - Reception
10:45am – 11:30am - Year 1

The school allows parents to take photographs or videos of their own children for personal use during sports day. However, in the interests of safeguarding all staff and children, the school strongly advocates that parents and carers do not place photographs or videos of children onto social networks of any kind. The reasons for this are:
• Parents of other children in the photos or videos have not given permission for this data to be released for others to view or use.
• Staff have not given their permission for their images to be placed on social networks for others to view or use.
• The school does not give permission for photos or video taken at school or at school based events or visits to be placed on social networks for others to view or use.

Students from the Junior School will be helping us on the day so we won’t require any parent volunteers on this occasion.
